The only reason I can think is that Najoua and Christophe Casanave are working hard to give us something of HIHG quality - I have read somewhere that some of the original titles to be on the album were "leaked" so Najoua decided to return to the studio and rerecord some new material (unconfirmed rumour). That would explain the original release date of earlier this year instead of late this year. We must be patient, we have to contend ourselves with Viens, Viens for now but another single should be released before the launch of the new album in early 2009

umh i really like much much more the new album title "au feminin" then the other "moderato cantabile" that in italian wasnt so special or at least is different for me cuz i'm italian

one of the best thing i like from najoua ( of course her songs and voice are in 1st place) is how does she looks like feminine..... something rare to find nowdays

according the date of 2009 for the new album, it's not so bad; maybe i can find more money to come to paris to see her in live for the first time at her concert .......(and dunno if i have the courage enought to do that steps....... dunno if once in paris i can coem back here, after meet her and get so much big emotions )

As for you coming to see her but not sure, in French we say "Ose" which means take a chance! Who knows, you might not be too intimidated as you think Yes, Najoua is very pretty and can sing, a plus for sure in this business. As long as she stays true to herself and her way of singing, I will remain a big fan also :110:

Yes, I'm crossing my fingers very very hard so that we do get this new album around that time! It would make the Winter here in Québec easier to "digest"

Latest news about the album...

the album is pushed back to October 2009. Seems Najoua and Christofe want to add more songs to the album and rework it before it comes out. No second single is planned as of yet. Also, the official site which was to open had a bug so that too is pushed back to later on (possible July or August).

And yet another set back for Najoua and Christof :

Comme la dit Charlene il y'a quelques jours, Najoua et Christophe ont rencontré un problème avec certains titres, un problème d'ordre informatique, plusieurs pistes du futur album ont été perdus ainsi que des fichiers indispensables à la création de cette album, plusieurs mois de travail ont été perdus, il faut donc recommencer le travail qui a été perdu ce qui implique un retard dans la sortie commerciale de cet album.

Il n'y à encore aucune date officielle d'annoncer, cependant les prévisions de Scorpio Musique annonce octobre comme possible période de sortie de ce 2e opus tant attendu.
Najoua et Christophe travaille donc en ce moment d'arrache pied pour reconstruire les fichiers perdus.

Certain songs of the upcoming album have been lost - at least the computer files have been either erased by mistake or simply lost in cyberland... so, that means that these songs have to be redone from the start which is why the album is pushed back to October (for the moment). No official date has been announced for the release of this second album but Scorpio Music is confident October will be the release date. Najoua and Crhistophe are working very hard to finish and redo all the hard work to compensate for the lost files.

Very strange, was it no backup of a 3 years work done? Or it is just formal "technical" reason of delay.

Anyway this is sad.

Your guess is as good as mine No really, all that was said was that they lost files on the computer needed to record the songs (I've no idea what that means or how bad it is) but it's reason enough to push back the album... yes, it's sad beause we've been waiting for sooooooooooooo longgggggggggggggggg... but, I have faith Najoua will come through

I'm so SO SO thrilled to finally received the limited edition CD Album "Au Féminin" in my hands today!

I'm lost for words...it's simply fantastic (like the first album, only better). A million thank you to Najoua & Christophe.

At a first listen, my favorites are : Ma vie n'est pas la tienne (my life isn't yours), Ma sainte Nitouche (very electro beat, I LOVE), Née de l'amour (Acte 2) (born out of love) very very ELECTRO, love the boom boom , Denis (song in english) is also very endearing and it does sound strange to listen to Najoua in english but she sings very well and we understand all the lyrics, Combien de Fois (how many times), Viola (with Marc Lavoine) I just LOVE this song!. I must listen to the CD many more times before making up comments about each and every song - I'm on the high of the emotion so it's hard to stop and be constructive in my comments

Very happy for you that you finally received your copy! I didn't obtain the M CD single cos' Grey's remix just isn't my foretaste. If it came with Cheliel remix, I'd grab 3 copies at least!

Anyway, my top 5 lists are:

1-Ma vie n'est pas la tienne
2-Ma saint-nitouche
3-Jérémie
4-La treve de l'amour (acte 1)
5-Viola (bonus track)

As for Jérémie, i just love it too much! It'll make a great CD single in my opinion! I just can't wait to see the video clip (which according to Najoua, is in the making already).
